An old photograph leads 50-year old Romer on a journey through the mists of his own memories. He embarks on a pilgrimage though the mountains of his childhood, which a wrenching decision by his parents forced him to abandon as a young boy. Ultimately, his arrival at a crossroads brings him to a silent but devastating encounter with his past. One Life and Two Trails is an extraordinarily moving story, filmed in the spectacular Andes mountains.
