Source: Explorart LLC Explorart Films appoints former Walt Disney Executive Maria Graciela Molero to Explorart Board of Directors and Management Team. Friday, June 4, 2004. The veteran media executive will be in charge of developing Explorart’s licensing and distribution division. CARACAS, Venezuela, June 4, 2004. Explorart Films announces the appointment of former Walt Disney media executive Maria Graciela Molero to Explorart’s management team and board of directors. Mrs. Molero’s appointment is effective immediately as Director for licensing and distribution. She brings to Explorart a high level of entertainment management experience and places Explorart in path to becoming a major player on the international independent film industry. Mr. Molero will be responsible for creating the company distribution strategy and overseeing general operations. She will also provide guidance to the company filmmakers and executives on issues of licensing, acquisitions, and marketing. “It is a tremendous honor for Explorart to bring Maria Graciela to our team. This reflects our commitment to sound business practices and our dedication to make Explorart into a reliable provider of high quality media content to distributors and television networks across the world” stated Juan Carlos López Durán, Explorart president and CEO. “She comes at an important time in our company’s development, and she will play an important role as we move our project pipeline from development into production”, he added. Mrs. Molero commented “When Juan Carlos revealed his vision of Explorart, I was completely convinced of the success of the company… Explorart’s projects represent a new concept of creative content… I hope that with my experience at Disney I can contribute in the marketing and distribution of the company’s project.” Before coming to Explorart, Mrs. Molero worked as a senior executive for more than eight years for the Latin American division of The Walt Disney Company, the world’s largest producer of creative content. She first worked as a senior executive for special projects: Andean Pact countries, where she was responsible for incorporating Disney’s Peruvian consumer products office, and creating Disney’s 5-year strategic plans for both the Colombian and Venezuelan offices. She later worked as a senior licensing executive for Disney Consumer Products and managed the home product categories for Venezuela, Colombia, Ecuador, Central American countries, and the Caribbean and led the successful re-launch of Disney’s home entertainment products in Venezuela and Colombia. Currently, Mrs. Molero also serves as Director of home entertainment for Cines Unidos, the Largest film distributor in Venezuela. Mrs. Molero holds a Masters of Business Administration from the University of Rochester, New York. She is also a registered Venezuelan CPA. About Explorart Films.
