Source: Explorart LLC Cezary Jaworski commits to feature film White Song as director of photography. Tuesday, February 1, 2005. The award wining filmmaker brings more than 20 years of world-class experience to Explorart Film’s latest project. ANN ARBOR, Mich., February 1, 2005. Explorart Films today announced that the renowned director of photography Cezary Jaworski has committed to the company’s feature film “White Song”. With the inclusion of Cezary Jaworski as the film’s director of photography, Explorart continues to assemble an elite team of independent filmmakers for the production of one of the most ambitious film projects to ever come from the promising Latin American film industry. “Cezary and I have worked together extremely well in the past. I knew I wanted him as Director of Photography from the moment the script began to evolve,” said Juan Carlos Lopez Duran, Explorart’s CEO and director of White Song. “Cezary has exactly the color and style I want for my film and his inclusion just makes me more confident in the success of the project,” Lopez-Duran added. Nestor Lopez, Explorart’s Vice-President and Director of Development, commented, “We are extremely glad with the attachment of Mr. Jaworski to the film’s production team. He brings decades of experience as director and director of photography, and is an extremely talented artist. Securing his participation speaks to our commitment to making White Song a success.” Mr. Jaworski will work with the director during the filming of the pre-production trailers scheduled for April of 2005. He will continue to work closely with the production team during pre-production and will serve a key role in the selection of final locations in Chile, Peru, and Canada. Cezary Jaworski has 23 years of experience in French, Canadian, Polish, Spanish and Latin American film and television productions. He has received more than 70 national and international awards for his work as art director, director of photography, and director. His work in "Unguento para Manos Agrietadas", won him the Kodak Ecumenical Jury Award at the Clarmont-Ferrand Festival, and the First Prize award at the prestigious Montreal International Film Festival. He also received the Best Photography award at the Festival de Las Palmas, for "La Pluma del Arcángel". Mr. Jaworski is a native of Warsaw, and studied film at the famed Polish National Film School at Lods. Mr. Jaworski currently works as a director and director of photography for some of the most prestigious Latin American production companies, and is a permanent faculty of direction and photography at the University of Los Andes’ Film School.
