Source: Explorart LLC Explorart Films signs NY Casting Director Judy Henderson to cast feature film White Song. June 1, 2005. ANN ARBOR, Mich. Explorart films announced that it has signed Judy Henderson, C.S.A., one of New York’s top casting agents, as Casting Director of feature film White Song. She will begin the initial talent attachment phase of the film immediately. “We are very excited to bring Judy Henderson to our team. Signing a casting agent of her prominence speaks to our commitment to make this project the most successful cinematic venture ever produced in Latin American” said Nestor Lopez, Explorart’s Vice-President and one of the producers of the Film. Mr. Lopez added, “After considering several casting directors, we feel we selected the best match for our film. Judy is extremely talented and wonderful to work with; we feel comfortable that she will be able to assemble the perfect cast for White Song”. Judy Henderson is a member of the prestigious Casting Society of America and is an established casting director for shorts, features and Broadway plays. Her projects have included many of the top Hollywood celebrities including Ethan Hawke, Al Pacino, Julianne Moore, Bruce Altman, and Brian Cox. She was named on the Ross Report as one of the top 20 Casting Directors in America and received an ARTIOS nomination for outstanding achievement in independent film casting for the award winning film “L.I.E”, winner of 6 Independent Spirits Awards. In addition, she is a top casting director for new media and video games and was the casting director for video game series success “Grand Theft Auto”. White Song is an adventure-love story depicting the life of a multinational climbing community living in a remote town at the heart of the Andes mountains. The 35mm feature film is poised to become the most ambitious projects to ever come from the emerging Latin American film industry. The film will be directed by up-and-coming Venezuelan director Juan Carlos Lopez Duran and co-produced by the award winning Latin Director/producer Alberto Arvelo. The producers are currently assembling a strong preliminary production team of industry veterans. Casting is being conducted by Judy Henderson C.S.A.
